Sometimes we forget how blessed we are to call South Orange County home. It was when I flew into Charleston, South Carolina in December to attend my son’s wedding (one of the many 12/12/12 weddings), landing at the airport to the pouring rain, think El Niño type of rain and temperatures in the low 50s, that I was reminded how blessed we truly are. On the things a mother will do list, you can add go Charleston during the cold and rainy winter.

There are days while driving in our convertibles down PCH with the tops down or stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic on the 405 or 5 freeway in sunny Southern California that we have the audacity to complain! I’ve lived in Southern California since 1989 except for the little stint my husband and I did in Charleston a few years ago and quite frankly for all the El Niño’s, earthquakes & credit crisis I just can’t think of a better climate with miles upon miles of beautiful coastline and beautiful beaches, hiking & biking trails, surf and skiing all in one place. Sure you can find joy anywhere, but let’s face it we have it a pretty big head start towards joy living here. So as for my husband and me we will stay out here and enjoy the beauty that South Orange County provides. I consider myself double blessed to be able to live here and to sell South Orange County Real Estate to some of the best clients an agent could ask for.Now to get to clicking my heals, “there’s no place like home, there’s no place like home….”
