Yes inventory of south orange county real estate for sale is low but guess what else is low??? Lease inventory! The Orange County Real Estate market has been hot for sure but so has the Orange County leasing market!

My email is stuffed with requests to go view leases as is my voice mail too! I’m sure it’s been like this before but I’ve not seen it to this extreme.  There are so many people looking to lease for a variety of reasons. They lost their home through a short sale or foreclosure, relocated, bigger family, smaller family, need to lower rental expense you name it it’s a reason.  It appears supply and demand is in play as the demand for rentals is so high the prices are being driven up as well.  Landlords can be selective on who they lease to and can for the most get the rent they want. Remember landlords make sure to get the whole story on why the credit score is a bit lower than you would normally accept or there is maybe a few more people on the lease.  Many people are doing what they have to so they have a place to live and are working towards turning their lives around. They may just need someone to believe in them.
