Orange County Real Estate – the stable steady market sails through summer

With summer coming to a close it is clear to see we are in a slow and steady stable market with all the major indicators remaining within a small range from month to month.

Active Inventory -staying in range

Not a great deal of movement in the active inventory number as summer comes to a close.

Sales Prices - continues to hold firm

As the chart shows we have pretty much been holding the same level for a while now. Prices are trending upwards but only ever so slightly.

What all this Means to:

Sellers – For sellers a stable market can be a good thing because the predictability it creates makes planning a lot easier. Looking forward my advice would be if you are thinking of selling in the next couple years you may be best served selling now rather than waiting.
