Orange County Real Estate – Summer Selling Season is Here!

Well after a long flat market the summer selling season seems ready to hit. A number of indicators are pointing to another hot summer in Orange County Real Estate and I have noticed in the past couple weeks a large increase in the number of market analysis requests from people looking to sell their home this summer.

Active Inventory  -starting to rise as the summer selling season begins

We saw a nice rise in the active inventory last month as more homes come on the market in anticipation of another hot summer selling season.

Sales Prices - another move up

Yet another move up in prices as we begin to enter summer, which is when most of our annual appreciation occurs.

Months of Inventory - about the same

There was plenty of demand to accommodate the rise in inventory so months of inventory remained right around the same.

Volume - another nice jump up

Volume rose for a third month now hinting that there is plenty of demand for Orange County Real Estate heading into summer.

Days to Sell - fell again

Another month of falling days to sell is yet another sign of a market heating up.

What all this Means to:

Sellers –  If you have been thinking about selling capitalize on this summer before we have any shifts in the market.
