Currently I’m working with multiple buyers in different stages of the home purchase cycle and right now, as we head into the summer season, the Orange County Real Estate market is heating up as much as our weather. This increase in activity does typically happen this time of the year but after a long period of a pretty flat market we are now seeing an explosive increase of homes listed and an almost equally explosive increase in buyer demand.
I’m not trying to sound the alarm bell here but if you are on the fence about buying a home based you might want to make your leap sooner rather than later. Based on the current Orange County Real Estate market trend if you are thinking of buying don’t wait to long because prices are starting to rise and the interest rates are still at record lows but there is no certainty that they will stay this low. If you are a seller you might want to jump in now because as we all learned a few years ago any real estate crescendo can always recede and you may miss your opportunity. Remember a bird in the hand is always better than a house on the market that nobody wants to buy or a mortgage interest rate that prices you out of your dream home.
