Dana Point Real Estate at a Glance:  Activity  picks up again: The detached home market had a great April, while the attached market lagged behind.

South Orange County Real Estate General Economic Conditions: So the last few points pointed to a normal market then last month we saw a number of small signs that we may be in for a hot summer selling season for Orange County Real Estate.  While the active listing inventory stayed around the same we saw a modest but noticeable jump in prices and volume while days to sell and months of inventory fell slightly. Can this be a hint of summer heat wave (and I am not talking about the temperature heat wave we started May with!) or is it just a slight bounce from the normal market conditions? My guess, based on both the statistics and the feeling I get from clients I am working with is that there is a sizable built up demand that may very well lead to a hot summer selling season.
