Aliso Viejo Real Estate – How I ended up calling Aliso home many years ago

When I sat down to write about Aliso Viejo I was hit with a bit of nostalgia as I started to think about all the great times I had raising my family here.  We originally moved from North Orange County to Aliso Viejo because of the fantastic schools a motivation I am sure many parents are familiar with.  We look around South Orange County for a while before finally discovering Aliso Viejo.  Many areas of South Orange County are beautiful and offer great school options but what drew us to Aliso Viejo particularly were also the affordability and the close proximity to the beaches. Once I moved to Aliso Viejo it didn’t take long to see why so many people were moving here at the time.  For the first few months my jaw dropped at the hills and trails around Aliso Viejo since where we had been in North Orange County was very flat.  Once I got over how beautiful the area was I realized all the things I need are close by, a huge plus for a working mother of two.  Aliso Viejo has three shopping centers with two being in the heart of Aliso Viejo and the other town center at Alicia Parkway and Pacific Park.   Within a short drive you have over 20 parks of various sizes with the main park being The Grand Park where they hold all the summer concerts and of course 4th of July fireworks.  Aliso Viejo is part of the Capistrano Unified School District which has received numerous awards for academic excellence.  In addition to the public schools Aliso Viejo has private schools that are faith base and non-faith based.  As Aliso Viejo grew as a city more and more housing options were built and now there is housing to meet everyone’s needs whether you are looking for a condo, town home, live to work home, or single family detached home you have it all here with current prices ranging from the mid 200s to over a million.
So if you like swimming, golf, ice skating, movies, concerts in the park, top rated schools, trails to bike and hike on to be a short drive to Laguna Beach or Salt Creek Beach in Dana Point give me a call and let me show you all around town and help you find the place that fits your needs here in Aliso Viejo.
