There’s nothing quite like working with first time Orange County homebuyers. Recently I met a fantastic young couple at an open house at Aliso Viejo real estate listing. (SEE THE LISTING HERE) They have been doing a lot of research on areas and prices to see which areas were affordable and the best match for their needs and just recently started to venture out to open houses to see some homes in person. After talking to them at length at the open house and answering a ton of questions about the area (they were from LA originally) with regards to taxes, schools, neighborhoods and their commute times they left to go to other open houses and continue checking out other areas. Along with a handful of other agents they met at open houses I stayed in contact with them and continues to answer questions both general and specific on properties and areas they were considering. This communication went on for a few weeks after which time they decided that I was the right one to represent them in the purchase of their first home. Even after 15 years in Orange County real estate I still take this as an honor because I know buying your first home is equal parts exciting and scary and as a first time buyer you do really have to carefully consider which agent you are going to have represent you. We proceeded to look at different Aliso Viejo homes in different areas until we found the one that was just right for them. We wrote the offer on Wednesday and after several counter offers we were in escrow on Friday with a 30 day close. It happened pretty quickly for them and there is a lot of excitement as they start the escrow process. I take my job to provide great guidance, education and communication all of which is key to making this an exciting time for them, as it should be
