Laguna Beach is the 2nd oldest city in Orange County June 29, 1927.  Laguna Beach is a unique beach community and artist’s colony with seven miles of City beaches running along its nine square miles. During the summer,  millions of  visitors are drawn to the resort environment for its picturesque beaches, art festivals and the Pageant of the Masters. It is bordered by the Pacific Ocean on the southwest, Crystal Cove State Park on the northwest, Laguna Woods on the northeast, Aliso Viejo and Laguna Niguel on the east and Dana Point on the southeast.  The town’s highest point, at an elevation of 1007 feet is Temple Hill in the Top of the World neighborhood.  The only way into Laguna Beach is Pacific Coast Highway and State Route 133 (Laguna Canyon Road).
